Q: Why can I not see the battalion forums?

A: Because you are not yet in a rank user group. To view the battalion forums you HAVE to be in a rank user group.



Q: How do I join a rank user group?

A: You need to go to the "join a usergroup" link at the top of the page in the navigation bar. Once there you pick the user group you need to join. Then your colonel needs to approve that user group. Once the colonel has approved the user group request, the a member of admin (XV or DC) needs to confirm the request and put you into the user group. If any of these steps are missed then you will not be in that user group.



Q: Why are my dog tags not showing up for my rank?

A: Because you have not been placed in a rank user group. One of the steps above has not been completed.



Q: I try to join a user group but it says I do not meet the requirements?

A: One of the requirements for joining a rank user group is to be in the previous user group. EXAMPLE: If I want to join the colonel user group, one of my requirements is that I be in the major user group FIRST. This is to prevent members from skipping ranks.



Q: I can not reply to some of the threads?

A: Some of the forums have been locked to only members who have obtained a certain rank. The How to Join section is locked so only majors and up can post in there. The awards request section is locked to corporal and up.



Q: How can I customize my profile?

A: As with the forums, the profile customiztion has been locked, you need to be at the rank of captain and up to be able to customize your proflie. At some point down the road we may offer that oprion to certain members as a reward but as of right now it is just captains and up.



Q: How can I get my awards?

A: First of all you will need to be at the rank of corporal or higher. Then you need to go to the "request an award" section. Once there you find the award(s) you need to request and make a new post in the forum for that award.
